I am Stefania and in September I’ll be 30 years old; I live in Vercelli, in the North of Italy, with my boyfriend. Unfortunatelly, due to economic crisis and new labour costs, in December of 2012 I have lost my temporary and project works so, last year, in the first of January 2013, I decided to work as a freelancer for different vocational training bodies and the employment agency in Vercelli.
I decided to change my life: my courage and my determination help me to be self-employed.
I started to work as a labour consultant and my job consists of helping unemployed people to find a new job: I give all important information to them in order to be indipendent for angling for opportunities.
My office is my home and very often I am outside home in small and big business (factory farm, commercial enterprise, artisan business, etc) because every day I must look for new job opportunities for the unemployed people living in Vercelli and near Vercelli. I must be always well-prepared and very professional because I must give correct information to all employers who want to employ some new workers and I must know current regulations in the labour market.
I love my job even if I must work very hard every day and sometimes I must work more than eight hours a day! I like reach my goal day by day and I am proud of me because I don’t give up working hard: my job is dynamic and I can meet a lot of people.
Now, I am pregnant and in August I will be mom, so I will have to work less. I am sure that I won’t leave my job and, of course, I will try to reconcile my work and my family, because I would like to be a good mum, a participating wife and a satisfied woman.
